San Jose takes a bite out of Toronto in shootout

The San Jose Sharks come back and beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in a shootout. The Maple Leafs were up 2 to 0 in start of the 3rd period on home ice. This did not scare the Sharks. The Sharks ended up coming back and scores 2 goals before time expire causing overtime. Nothing happen in OT. Like no one score. This ended up going into the most exciting part of hockey. A shootout. The Sharks Goalie Martin Jones stopped all three shooters for Toronto. Logan Couture was the only one to score in the shootout leading the sharks to a W. Toronto Should feel ashamed for blowing the lead.

Suns Burn out the Knicks in OT

The Phoenix Suns come in Clutch beating the New York Knicks 113-111. The Knicks were down the whole game up till the 4th quarter when Kristaps Porzingis started draining buckets. This cause them to tie up in the 4th  leading to overtime.  New York could not finish the game though. Eric Bledsoe had 31 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals for the Suns. This man leaded the Suns to their win. Kristaps Porzingis had 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals but this was not enough for New York. Derrick Rose for the Knicks tore his stuff in the 1st quarter with back problems. He did not return to the game. Both teams played very well but the Suns came up on top in the end.

Penguins kill Coyotes. Literally

The Pittsburgh Penguins mess up the Arizona Coyotes 7-0. This is unheard of in hockey. Arizona should just quit playing hockey after this game. Like come on. The Penguins score 1 in the first period, 4 in the second, and 2 in the third. Coyotes score 0 in the first period, 0 in the second, and a whopping 0 in the third. It’s not just the offense you should give credit to for the Penguins. The goalie, Matt Murray had 32 saves and lead the team to a shutout. All seven goals for the Penguins were scored by a different player. Which is nice to see that Pittsburgh played as a team. Pray for Arizona.

The Wizards Eat the Nuggets

The Washington Wizards beat the Denver Nuggets 92-85. The Wizards improve to 8-13 while the Nuggets fall to 8-15. Both team are not looking to good this season but that is what made this game a good game. It was an even match up. The Nuggets took a strong lead at the end of the first with a score of 29-18. They couldn’t hold up the lead for the rest of the game though. The Wizards slowly came back each quarter leading up to them winning the the fourth quarter.  My man John Wall had a nice 15 points. Top score for the Wizards was Bradley Beal with 26. Washington played a good four quarter game and never gave up at any point. If they keep playing like this, they can start looking like a decide basketball team. 1481251961_nuggets-wizards-baske-webfsmall

Knicks became deaf from the Thunder.

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeat the New York Knicks 112-103 in Madison Square Garden last night on Monday, the 28th. If Russel Westbrook was never a person, the Knicks may have came up on top. Westbrook had 27 points, 18 rebounds, 14 assists, and 2 steals. That man is a powerhouse. Overall, the whole OKC team played well as individuals and as a team. Derrick Rose went off for the Knicks but it wasn’t enough. He had 30 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Carmelo Anthony had an ok game with 18 points and same with Kristaps Porzingis with only 21. Now This would be good for bench players but both these guys have high standers for the Knicks and need to carry the team if they want to win. In the end, OKC out played the Knicks by the fourth quarter and got the W. jose-calderon-russell-westbrook-nba-new-york-knicks-oklahoma-city-thunder-590x900

Winnipeg gets slipped up by the Oilers

Winnipeg gets slipped up by the Oilers

The Winnipeg Jets end up getting smack by the Edmonton Oilers 6-3. The Jets were up 2-1 at the end of the 1st period but couldn’t keep the lead. The Oilers ended up scoring 3 goals in the 2 period while the Jets scored none. The Oilers took advantage of the powers plays. They had a total of 4 goals off of power plays. They had 2 from Mark Letestu and Leon Draisaitl. The Jets need to stop playing street hockey and not  allow so many power plays.
